A Few Common Questions
Will the wedding coordinator be available on my wedding day?
Of course! Your wedding coordinator will be on site from the morning of your wedding until shortly after your bridal entrance! They will also be available to assist with your ceremony (should it be held with Royal on the Park) and can assist with set up of place cards & bonbonnieres.
Your wedding packages have a minimum number of guests, are you able to accommodate for less?
For smaller numbers, a room hire fee may be incurred and a customised package can be offered to suit your individual requirements. Contact us here.
Is there a discount for children?
Teenagers 12 - 17 years will be charged at the 'teenage' rate which varies between each package. Children 3 - 12 years will be at a rate of $50.00 per child. Infants 0 - 2 years will not be served a meal unless requested.
Can I place a tentative hold on a date?
Yes. Royal on the Park can hold a date free of charge for up to 14 days. However should another event wish to book on this date a deposit will be required.
Can you provide food for guests with dietary requirements?
Our culinary team will be pleased to assist with special dietary requirements.
Can you provide a meal for our suppliers i.e. DJ or band?
Yes, please ask our Wedding Coordinator for options and prices.
Is a menu tasting included?
Yes! A menu tasting is included for two people. Additional people can be added at a cost. Our Wedding Coordinator can provide the cost for this.
Can we bring our own wedding cake?
Yes. You may supply your own wedding cake. We can also put you in touch with one of our partners.
Do I have to book with your recommended suppliers?
You are welcome to source your own suppliers should you wish. Royal on the Park only recommends suppliers whom we have worked with before and who know our venue well.
How early can my suppliers access the room?
Up to two hours prior to the start of your reception, however please discuss with your wedding coordinator should you require earlier access.
When are my final numbers and payment due?
Final numbers are due five business days prior to your wedding with the final payment due the following day.
